Projects and Accounts

Registered cscs2go users are given two identifiers:

• A personal account that enable them to access the HPC Platform (with ssh, though a login service), explore files and compile codes within a UNIX shell.
• A project that enables users to submit jobs to a batch queue and store files within a central file system. The project ID is used both to track accounting information and as a UNIX group ID for sharing data.

cscs2go projects are obtained through this website. Please note that regular CSCS UserLab allocation schemes are not applicable here.

Project resource monitoring and project user management can be done via the account.cscs.ch web portal.
